We organized a day of symposium together with Hugo Gangloff, Nicolas Jouvin and Mathilde Mougeot, at AgroParisTech on April, 15.
70 researchers from across France gathered to discuss methodological and theoretical advances in Physics-Informed Machine Learning, featuring six inspiring keynotes and a poster session.
In spring 2026 I’m tutoring two M2 interns in MIA Paris-Saclay:
Francis Jégou (student at Polytech Sorbonne) on the Inference of spatio-temporal stochastic recurrence models for extreme oceanographic data, together with Gloria Buritica, funded by the DataIA Institute
Yann Chauvard (student at CentraleSupélec) on Physics Informed Neural Networks for parameter estimation in Stochastic Differential Equations, together with Hugo Gangloff, Nicolas Jouvin and Sophie Donnet, funded by the GS MRES
Both are currently seeking PhD opportunities in Statistics and Machine Learning applied to environmental and biological sciences, starting in September 2026. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any available positions or leads!
In October 2025 I welcomed in my team the PhD student Alexandre Loret, under the supervision of Thomas Romary, Nicolas Desassis (Mines Paris) and myself. His PhD is funded by the Geolearning chair.
He will tackle the computational challenges of the inference of complex spatio-temporal models, exploring different techniques in Deep Learning.
